About Thearon

Thearon (T.) Williams has 28 year of military service and experience in operations, leadership and communications. An Army veteran and military retiree, T has held leadership positions in numerous Army battalion, division and Corps level leadership positions in deployed settings. He led the development and integration of plans, strategy, and policy across large organizations during two Pentagon assignments.

T held positions on the Joint Staff on the Global Operations Directorate and as an Adjunct professor at the National War College. As a member of the NWC Faculty, T developed an elective communications course, as well taught courses on National Strategy and Warcraft.

Prior to joining Ward Circle Strategies, T completed nine years as a Senior Consultant in the Defense Health Agency Communications department.  As the senior planner, T was responsible for organizing, directing and coordinating all communications plans within the MHS Strategic Communications Plans and Operations team, reporting to the Director, MHS Strategic Communications. Additionally, he was the senior communications advisor in support of the Director of Strategic Communications and Outreach at Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, functioning similarly to a chief of staff. Responsibilities included oversight of both strategic and tactical communications planning, tracking project implementation and completion, assisting in management of special events, and integrating communications functions across the MHS.

T holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, a Master of Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of National Security Strategy from the National War College.
