Lauren supports clients and internal teams by conducting quick and thorough research, by drafting pitch materials, social media content and presentation decks. She has also been a key part of media pitch teams on issues ranging from crime prevention, to consumer habits and health care.

She came to Ward Circle after serving in the membership division of the National Association of Counties (NACo) where she learned a lot about counties of various sizes and demographics and their need for federal support.

Lauren initially got to know the ins and outs of federal policymaking through her work at a pre-eminent Washington, DC government relations firm that specializes in the appropriations process and through an important internship on Capitol Hill.

She has a keen interest in journalism, having been a reporter for her college newspaper, but after spending time in Washington, she determined she had a passion for shaping national policy.

  • After work, you can typically find her at a Washington Capitals hockey game. Her favorite memories include holding the NHL Stanley Cup – twice!
